💛 Gamble Fletcher’s Story
Cabin Stay | September 12–14, 2025 | Sure Game Wilderness Resort

If there are three words that describe Gamble Fletcher, they are strong, courageous, and kind. Nominated by Brandy, who has witnessed his journey up close, Gamble’s story is one of perseverance, resilience, and love.

After months of appointments and unanswered questions, his family — especially Ali — continued to push for clarity. Finally, they received the news that would change everything: Gamble was battling an ultra-rare IMT sarcoma, an aggressive and fast-growing cancer, all at just 13 years old. What followed was an emotional and challenging journey filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless treatments. Through it all, Gamble remained brave beyond his years.

Today, he’s doing remarkably well — growing stronger every day and, most importantly, getting back to just being a teenage boy again. That strength and spirit are what inspired his family’s nomination for the “Cancer Sucks” giveaway, a chance to pause, breathe, and celebrate how far they’ve come.

From September 12–14, 2025, Gamble and his family spent a much-needed weekend together at Sure Game Wilderness Resort — and it was everything they hoped for and more.

The perfect fall getaway. We had a wonderful weekend with much-needed relaxing family time. Campfires, card games, beautiful fall leaves, explored the Lost 40, fishing, swimming, and a million memories made. Cabins are clean and the staff is great! We were blessed with the Cancer Sucks giveaway. My son had ultra-rare IMT sarcoma at the ripe age of 13. He is doing great now and getting back to being able to be a teenage boy again. We are so grateful for the gift of time with each other and will cherish all the memories we made.” – Allie Fletcher

This weekend wasn’t just a getaway — it was a celebration of strength, a reminder of hope, and a chance for a family who has been through so much to reconnect and make memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️
